My Process
This painting was deeply personal. As I worked on it, I reflected on the shared struggles my friend and I faced. It was painful but also inspiring to see her transformation. The water in the painting represents the overwhelming emotions we often feel, but here, she rises above it. Her closed eyes symbolize introspection, peace, and accepting that happiness must be actively sought, not passively awaited.
